The story of Aural Monolith

I still remember the first time I heard "Godspeed You! Black Emperor", it was like the ebows and the somewhat sorrowful melodies were speaking a language I already knew.  They captured for the first time, a feeling that I thought no one else in the world would experience or understand.  But there it was, perfect.  From that moment on, the idea of exploring that type of music for myself was always present.

A bit of background

I grew up in a tiny village in Italy that was nothing short of idyllic. I had friends, and my neighbours were nice, but still not that many people around.

I would pass the time playing instruments that were in my home.  With all that free time and little distraction because of where I lived, it had the positive effect of making me somewhat of a multi-instrumentalist.

My musical influences are "MONO" (Japan), "Explosions in the Sky" (USA), "God is an Astronaut" (Ireland), "Wang Wen" (China), and "Godspeed You! Black Emperor" (Canada).

All of my music is unreleased.

If you are interested in licensing the tracks, just send me a message. I am currently looking for a sync agent.
